I have forgotten my password – what must I do?

  • In the top right corner of the home page click on "login"
  • At the bottom of the login window - click on "reset password"
  • Enter your username and a new password will be emailed to you

How can I change my password?

  • In the top right corner of the home page click on "login"
  • Enter your username and password and log into Supply Chain Network
  • Go to "membership" on the main menu bar
  • Select the option "change password"
  • Enter your current password and a new password that you will remember
  • Record your username and password in a safe place for you to remember in future

I have forgotten my username – what must I do?

  • Email the call centre on helpdesk@scnet.co.za - on verification of your email address your username will be emailed to you.
  • Alternatively contact the call centre on 087 094 9990

I receive regular emails that my profile is still pending – what must I do?

  • Your profile is still pending for one of two reasons
    1.You started to create your profile and managed to get past the first page - however for some reason you could not complete your profile; OR
    2.You have completed your profile through to the final step and clicked on "finish"
  • My profile is incomplete
    • In the top right corner of the home page click on "login"
    • Enter your username and password you created when you registered your profile and log into Supply Chain Network
    • Complete your profile through to step 7 - and click finish.
    • You will then receive an email confirming your registration
    • IMPORTANT - in the email is a link "click here" - you must complete this step in order to verify your email address on Supply Chain Network – if this is not done your profile will still be pending and will not be visible to the buyers using Supply Chain Network
  • I have completed my profile
    • Your profile has been completed BUT you are still receiving weekly emails to remind you that your profile is pending
    • This is because the email confirming your registration - which has a link in the email that says "click here to verify your email address" - as not been done
    • If you cannot find this email - check your JUNKMAIL folder - as your email settings could have directed the registration email there
    • If you still cannot find the email please contact the call centre on 087 094 9990 and they will resend the registration email for your action.

I cannot find the email confirming my registration - what must I do?

  • This email is important as there is a link that you must click on to verify your email address and activate your company profile on the Network
  • Check your JUNKMAIL folder as sometimes a users email settings route the registration email into the JUNKMAIL folder
  • If you still cannot find the email please contact the call centre on 0861-2-72638 (0861-2-SCNET) and they will resend the registration email for your action.

I am receiving emails that my Tax Clearance Certificate has expired what must I do?

  • You need to upload a new certificate
  • In the top right corner of the home page click on "login"
  • Enter your username and password you created when you registered your profile and log into Supply Chain Network
  • Go to "membership" on the main menu bar
  • Select "member profile"
  • On the second page "enterprise credentials" you can upload your new Tax Clearance Certificate
  • REMEMBER to also change the expiry date to reflect the new expiry date.

I am receiving emails that my BBBEE Certificate has expired what must I do?

  • You need to upload a new certificate
  • In the top right corner of the home page click on "login"
  • Enter your username and password you created when you registered your profile and log into Supply Chain Network
  • Go to "membership" on the main menu bar
  • Select "member profile"
  • On the second page "enterprise credentials" you can upload your new BBBEE Certificate
  • REMEMBER to also change the expiry date to reflect the new expiry date.

I am receiving emails that I am a Premium Member and I must upload either my Tax Clearance , my BBBEE Certificate or both

  • As a Premium Member our call centre will verify your company profile - this is important as the buyer wants to see verified information
  • Without your Tax Clearance & BBBEE Certificates - the call centre cannot complete your verification. If these documents are not received within 4 weeks of registration the call centre will mark your profile as "UNVERIFIED"
  • To upload your documents:
    • In the top right corner of the home page click on "login"
    • Enter your username and password you created when you registered your profile and log into Supply Chain Network
    • Go to "membership" on the main menu bar
    • Select "member profile"
    • On the second page "enterprise credentials" you can upload your Tax Clearance and/or BBBEE Certificate
    • REMEMBER to also add the expiry date.

I have registered my company profile and when searching I cannot find my company on Supply Chain Network

  • Make sure that you selected the 1st option when you registered "I want to list my business" - if this has been done -
  • Make sure that you have clicked on the link in the email confirming your registration - this would have been sent the shortly after completing your registration – if this has been done -
  • Contact the call centre on 087 094 9990 for assistance.

I want to change information on my company profile – how do I do this?

  • In the top right corner of the home page click on "login"
  • Enter your username and password you created when you registered your profile and log into Supply Chain Network
  • Go to "membership" on the main menu bar
  • Select "member profile" and edit/update any part of your profile.

What is a profile score and how is it calculated?

A profile score is a tool used by the buyers to quickly reach company profiles that are complete. The more information in your profile - the higher your profile score. The profile score allocates points based on the elements of your profile that are important to the buyer.
  • The profile score is allocated based on how complete and compliant your profile is.
  • Those elements that are more important to the buyer (such as your BBBEE & Tax Clearance Certificate as well as Trade References) - these elements receive higher points in your profile score.
  • A Basic and Premium Member can score exactly the same against the Completion Score
  • Whereas ONLY a Premium Member can earn a Compliance Score based on validation of the various documents and BBBEE credentials
  • A Profile Score is then calculated as a combination of the Completion Score and the Compliance Score – a 70/30 ratio.
  • Your Profile Score = Your Completion Score% x 0.7 + Your Compliance Score% x 0.3.

    I have received a verification report – what is this?

    • A premium member's company profile is verified by the Supply Chain Network Call Centre
    • The verification is done against CIPC, SARS and BBBEE Compliance
    • A verified profile is branded as a Verified Profile and given priority in any search result conducted by a buyer.

    Can I submit new information to improve my verification report?

    • Yes - if your verification report indicates which pieces of information could not be verified - you can update your company profile and add the additional information. The call centre will receive a notification that your profile has been amended and a new Verification Report will be done.

    What should I do if I have amended my profile BUT the Verification report has not been amended?

    • Contact the call centre on 087 094 9990 and request that the Verification report be redone

    How do I become a Premium Member to access tenders?

    • Premium Membership requires a subscription.
    • Payment via annual eft or monthly debit order.

          STEPS

    • Login with your username and password on the top right corner and click on .
    • Select the payment option.
    • Email payment confirmation to helpdesk@scnet.co.za.
    • On confirmation the call centre will upgrade your profile to premium membership.
    • You will have access to all areas on Supply Chain Network including Tender Bulletins and Electronic Request for Quote.

    My profile score has gone down – what must I do ?

    • A profile score will drop if your Tax Clearance or BBBEE Certificate expires.
    • These are important tools for the buyer and this is why your score has dropped.
    • To improve your score you must upload a new BBBEE and/or Tax Clearance Certificate - REMEMBER to change the expiry date to reflect the new expiry date.
